VENUE ANNOUNCED and TABLE APPLICATIONS OPEN NOW!

We’re pleased to announce our venue for 2013. This year, the Bristol Comic and Zine fair will be held at The Station, Bristol. The Station is a city-centre space run by The Creative Youth Network to provide a place for young people to meet, develop their talent, and get advice and support. Formerly a fire station, and more recently an artists space, the Station now offers a cafe, rehearsal facilities, meeting rooms and event spaces for the local community. This choice of venue has allowed us to expand the number of tables on offer and run a programme of workshops throughout the day. Full venue info here!

We are also pleased to let you know that we are now open to application from artists, cartoonists, writers and makers who would like to sell their work at the fair.

If you would like to apply for a table at this year’s fair, please visit our apply page. There you’ll be asked to fill out a form with some contact information, and a little bit of information about you and your work. You’ll also be able to request either a half-table or a whole table (the tables are standard folding trestle tables measuring 2.5 ft x 6ft). Although you won’t be asked for any money at this stage, if your application is successful the table costs will be:

Half table – £11
Full table – £20

The deadline for applications is 15th of July 2013. We’ll let applicants know about the status of their application as soon as we can.

If you have any questions or queries, please contact us. If not, get applying!
